Lee Holmes Departs as CEO of Infinox UK
Lee Holmes has stepped down as Chief Executive of Infinox's UK unit, concluding his tenure at the end of last month. His departure comes nearly a year after assuming the leadership role. It remains unclear if Holmes held a senior position in any of Infinox's non-UK entities. The company, which also operates a Mauritius-regulated entity and has registered businesses in Anguilla and Cyprus, has not yet named a successor for the UK CEO position.
Holmes's leadership period was marked by significant developments. The company expanded its geographic footprint by acquiring Nordic-focused broker Skilling in October of last year. However, its institutional division also suspended numerous new institutional trading activities last year, citing concerns over suspicious activity and potential market conduct breaches.
Holmes has had two separate tenures at Infinox, with his most recent beginning in late 2024. Between these periods, he held brief roles at the institutional divisions of Hantec Markets and Exinity. His career also includes substantial experience in institutional sales and liquidity management from previous positions at ATFX UK and FXCM. This background is seen as aligning with Infinox's strategic focus on its IXO Prime institutional business.
