Lendscape Implements Leadership Transition, Appoints Interim CEO
Lendscape, a global provider of secured finance technology, has announced a leadership transition with the departure of Kevin Day from his role as Chief Executive Officer. Day, who has been with the company for over 40 years and led as CEO for the past eight years, will remain involved as an Executive Advisor and Board Member.
Throughout his tenure, Day played a central role in the company's development, overseeing its expansion into global markets and strengthening partnerships with financial institutions. Under his leadership, Lendscape enhanced its technology offerings in receivables finance and asset-based lending, positioning itself as a key provider in the secured finance sector.
Commenting on his departure, Lendscape’s Executive Chairman, Tony Davison, recognized Day’s contributions and emphasized the company’s commitment to maintaining stability while preparing for future growth. Davison noted that Day’s continued advisory role would provide valuable support during this transition.
As part of this leadership restructuring, Martin Morrin, who has served as Chairman of the Lendscape Advisory Board since 2022, has been appointed Interim CEO. Morrin brings extensive experience in financial services, having held senior leadership roles at RBS/NatWest, Barclays, and Santander. His expertise in receivables finance and asset-based lending aligns with Lendscape’s ongoing business objectives.
In addition to these leadership changes, Lendscape has strengthened its executive team with two key appointments: Patrick Myles as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Gareth Evans as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Myles, with his background in enterprise software and digital transformation, is expected to drive Lendscape’s technological advancements, while Evans will oversee revenue growth strategies and client engagement initiatives.
The company stated that these leadership changes reflect its commitment to innovation and long-term strategic development. A search for a permanent CEO is underway, with Lendscape focused on ensuring a smooth transition while continuing to deliver solutions that meet the evolving needs of the secured finance industry.
