Liquidnet Welcomes Morgan Stanley Exec to Co-Head Futures Business in Americas

Fazzaco learned that Liquidnet, the institutional trading network and dark pool operator, has appointed Alex Grinfeld as Managing Director, Co-Head Listed Derivatives Americas.

Before joining Liquidnet, Alex spent about eleven years at Morgan Stanley, where he initially served as Vice President, Futures & Derivatives Sales Trading, then rose to Executive Director, Futures & Derivatives Sales Trading, based on his LinkedIn profile.

"I am very grateful for the opportunity to have worked with all the wonderful people at MS for the last 11 years. Starting a new chapter in this week ahead!" Alex wrote in a LinkedIn post.

Prior to Morgan Stanley, he was at Goldman Sachs, holding the role of Vice President, Futures & Derivatives Sales Trading.

At 2023 end, Fazzaco reported that Liquidnet entered into a partnership with bondIT​, a leading provider of next-generation investment technology, integrating bondIT's Scorable Credit Analytics into its Fixed-Income electronic trading platform to help traders anticipate market trends, mitigate credit risk, and make informed investment decisions faster.
