The year was 1807, Ludwig I of Bavaria was still the crown prince of the Kingdom. An idea was conceived in his mind, and that was to build a hall where laudable and distinguished people throughout German history could be honored, in support of the gathering momentum for the unification of the many German states. The construction of the hall commenced five years after he acceded to the throne in 1825. That was later known as the first hall of fame.

The Elites Across the Financial Markets Deserve A Hall of Fame

Now when we talk about "the hall of fame", sometimes known as "wall of fame or walk of fame", a term largely popularized in the United States, we automatically picture celebrities in the show business, or notable athletes from different types of sports and games. We are not saying that we should not celebrate them, but Fazzaco believes that we need our own Hall of Fame to celebrate the great people in the financial world.

So, Fazzaco proudly launched the event, Fazzaco Hall of Fame 2022 on October 24. The event is designed to become the memorabilia enshrining the great names and commendable achievements across the financial markets covering forex, cryptocurrency and fintech, and will last through three phases, and by the time you are listening to this now, the first phase of nomination has already drawn to a successful and fruitful conclusion, with more than 170 people being nominated, competing for 20+ awards under 2 categories, which are Brokerage and Fintech.

Voting is Ongoing! More Surprises Waiting to be Unfolded

Tons of votes have been swarming in ever since the voting period officially kicked off on November 21. On the first day, we saw a total of 51,210 votes being cast, with the top 5 brokerage candidates and top 5 fintech candidates taking up 16.7% and 6.67% of all votes respectively.

The following days saw record votes, with 66,991 votes received during the second day, and a surprising 91,691 votes received the third day, approaching the 100k milestone!

As the fierce competition continues on, another team of Fazzaco is working intensely to prepare a grand award ceremony for all winners. Now the world is gradually moving out of the shadows of Covid lockdowns, we deserve a face-to-face party to celebrate such an occasion to which everybody in the financial industry is looking forward.
