London Stock Exchange Group Launches Cloud-Based DataScope Warehouse

The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) has announced the launch of DataScope Warehouse, a new cloud-based, ready-to-use enterprise data solution that offers customers comprehensive access to fixed income and equity data records. This innovative solution is designed to support Structured Query Language (SQL), enabling users to explore and query the Pricing and Reference database with ease.
DataScope Warehouse will provide LSEG's clients with immediate and total access to a complete database of fixed income, bank loans, and legal entity data, as well as global equities, derivatives, and funds from over 180 exchanges worldwide, including those in emerging markets. This development is expected to significantly enhance the data accessibility and usability for businesses operating in the financial sector.
Kristin Hochstein, Global Head of Pricing and Reference Services at LSEG, emphasized the importance of this solution, stating, "Our customers are looking for flexible solutions that allow them to consume as much data as they need exactly when they need it." She noted that the launch of DataScope Warehouse will enable customers to spend less time on data remediation and more time discovering insights, ultimately boosting productivity in their operations.
The DataScope Warehouse solution will initially be delivered through Snowflake cloud infrastructure, with additional cloud providers set to be rolled out through 2025. LSEG's Pricing Data Service will offer independent, transparent, and accurate evaluated pricing covering over 2.8 million fixed income securities and derivatives, including hard-to-value assets in both core and emerging markets. This comprehensive offering, alongside LSEG Reference Data, which provides global coverage of more than 80 million active and matured financial instruments, positions LSEG as a key player in delivering essential data solutions for financial professionals.
