Longwave Financial Merges with ESG-Focused Firm JSA Sustainable Wealth Management

Longwave Financial today yesterday the acquisition of JSA Sustainable Wealth Management of Rhinebeck, NY - a pioneer in the areas of Socially Responsible (SRI) and ESG investing. The combined firm will increase access to sustainably focused wealth management services for clients from New York City up throughout the Hudson Valley, and points beyond.
"Values-based, ethical investing is an important tenet for many of our clients who want to leave the world better than they found it. This partnership was a natural next step in helping our clients meet the challenges of the future with effective solutions they can feel good about," said Longwave President and Financial Advisor Nathan Munits, CRPC®, AIF®. "It's an exciting opportunity for us to join forces with JSA and its robust resources and experience in sustainable investing. With more and more investors understanding the power of their investment dollars in making a difference in the world, Longwave seeks to be a leader in helping more clients align their wealth and values."
"The cornerstone of JSA is a dedication to sustainable investing. Finding a merger partner and successor that shares that same commitment for offering impact-focused solutions, led my search directly to Longwave," said JSA Managing Principal Jeffrey Scales, CFP®, AIF®. "I've also had the pleasure of getting to know Nathan on a professional and personal level for almost a decade, and we hold similar values in our approach to our clients and team members," he added.
With the merger, Nathan Munits will serve as CEO and Senior Wealth Advisor, with Jeffrey Scales stepping into the role of Chief Impact Officer. For over three decades, in addition to his leadership role at JSA, Jeff has served as a wealth advisor, pioneer, and relentless advocate for ESG investing, addressing JSA client needs with ESG principles at the core. Together, the firms will help advance their impact-investing missions, including integrating ESG risk factors into client portfolios while continuing to give back to the local communities.
