LP Prime Co-Founder Louay Amhaz Departs Firm

Louay Amhaz, one of the original architects behind the liquidity provider LP Prime, has exited the company, according to a formal statement issued last Friday. The announcement characterized his departure as temporary, stating, "this isn't a goodbye, but a 'see you later'," implying that a return remains on the table.
Amhaz played a key role in founding LP Prime in early 2024, with the aim of supplying liquidity services to forex and CFD brokers. The firm currently provides access to over 2,500 trading instruments across eight asset classes, ranging from foreign exchange and stocks to more specialized products like non-deliverable forwards (NDFs).
Reflecting on his decision, Amhaz said, "While I'm stepping back, I'll always be part of the LP Prime family." The company, meanwhile, continues to grow under the leadership of CEO Marios Antoniou and COO Demetris Hapsides, both of whom previously held senior roles at IronFX. "Louay helped shape the core of LP Prime," Antoniou remarked, noting his lasting impact on the company's culture and vision.
Though Amhaz's next career move has not been disclosed, his departure coincides with LP Prime's ongoing expansion across the Middle East and North Africa. The company emphasized its focus on serving brokers and institutional clients globally, supported by what it describes as a "strong team of experienced professionals."
Before launching LP Prime, Amhaz accumulated over a decade of experience in the retail trading sector, including senior roles at oneZero and PrimeXM.
