LSEG Appoints Amir Amanat as Business Director, Middle East & Africa

London Stock Exchange Group plc (LSEG) has secured a Business Director, Middle East & Africa, with Amir Amanat joining the group to take on the role.

Amanat joins LSEG with more than 20 years of experience in senior business management and development. Most recently, he was Advisory Consultant at MENA Financial Crime Compliance Group (MENA FCCG).

Before that, Amanat held similar roles at Refinitiv, one of the world's largest providers of financial markets data and infrastructure, where he joined in 2018 and took the role as Business Director, MEA.

Prior to Refinitiv, he has spent over two years at Thomson Reuters as Business Director, MENA, managing strategic government relations and business across MENA, Cyrpus and Malta.

Other stops in Amanat's career include working as Director of Business Development at Acculty, Regional Director at CMS Financial, Account Director, MENA at Dow Jones, Business Strategy EMTN Markets at SIX and VP Fixed Income at Ameero Asset Management LLP, where he started his career in 1999.
