LSEG Grants CFO Anna Manz with Awards over Shares

Fazzaco learned that Anna Manz, Chief Financial Officer of London Stock Exchange Group plc (LSEG) has been granted an award over shares in the company on 10 August 2021 (the "Award").

Consistent with LSEG's approved Remuneration Policy, and as set out in its announcement on 25 June 2020, LSEG agreed to make the Awards to compensate Manz for the pro-rata bonus award for the financial year 2020/21 which she forfeited or was otherwise not awarded on leaving her former employer Johnson Matthey, a global science and chemicals company in sustainable technologies, to join LSEG.

This conditional Award comprises 2,900 shares with a face value of £226,374, representing 50% of the forfeited bonus. The value of the forfeited bonus was confirmed by Johnson Matthey's publication of its 2020/21 annual results.

Manz was appointed LSEG Group CFO in November 2020​. Prior to LSEG, Manz was Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director of Johnson Matthey plc from 2016 to 2020, leading its Finance, Procurement and IT functions.

Before joining Johnson Matthey plc, she spent 17 years at Diageo plc, one of the world's largest producers of spirits and beers, in a number of senior finance roles, including most recently as Chief Strategy Officer and member of the Executive Committee, and previously Finance Director of Spirits North America, Group Treasurer and Finance Director Asia Pacific.
