LTP Expands into Europe with Acquisition of Spanish Firm

Hong Kong-based institutional prime brokerage firm LTP has announced a significant expansion into the European digital asset market through the acquisition of Turing Capital Brokerage (TCB), a Spanish firm holding a license under the European Union's MiCA regulatory framework. This strategic move will enable LTP to offer fully compliant cryptocurrency brokerage services to institutional clients across Europe, strengthening its position in the evolving digital finance sector.
According to the company, the acquisition of TCB, a subsidiary of Turing Capital, provides LTP with the necessary regulatory approval from the Bank of Spain to operate under the MiCA framework. This will allow institutional investors to access digital asset markets with enhanced security and transparency. Following the acquisition, TCB has been rebranded as Liquidity Technology S.L (LTP Spain). The newly formed entity will leverage LTP's global infrastructure, extensive liquidity network, and advanced technology to improve execution efficiency and broaden service offerings for institutional investors throughout Europe.
Jack Yang, Founder and CEO of LTP, commented on the acquisition, stating, "This acquisition marks a significant step in our mission to provide regulated, institutional-grade digital asset services on a global scale. With LTP Spain's MiCA-compliant adaptability and deep-rooted expertise in the European market, we are poised to deliver unparalleled access and liquidity to our institutional clients."
In related news, LTP has also appointed Eric Wang as its Head of Australia. Mr. Wang, a seasoned executive in the retail trading industry, joins LTP from CBCX, where he served as Chief Operating Officer.
