Marc Wäckerlin Appointed as Scrypt’s CTO

Fazzaco learned that Scrypt, a Swiss-based digital asset trading and investment company, has named Marc Wäckerlin as its new chief technology officer (CTO). With over 30 years of experience in finance, software development, and engineering, Wäckerlin is expectedx to bring his expertise to the position.

He most recently served as the CTO and executive director of Sygnum, a Swiss cryptocurrency bank, where he oversaw the redesign of the technology system and managed the development team. Previously, Wäckerlin worked as a software engineer at SwissSign, developing client tools for Suisse ID, and has extensive experience in software development at Siemens Schweiz AG.

According to Scrypt CEO and founder Norman Wooding, Wäckerlin's enthusiasm for cryptocurrencies and their role in the financial ecosystem, as well as his impressive track record in supporting growth, will be a valuable asset to the company. Wäckerlin himself expresses his eagerness to bring his digital asset technology knowledge to his new role, where he sees great alignment in the company's visions for growth.
