Marex Records 29% Increase in Net Revenue for Full Year 2022

Marex, an essential tech-enabled liquidity hub connecting clients to global energy, commodity and financial markets, released it financial results for the full year ended 31 December 2022, seeing a strong financial performance driven by clients activity on the platform.
Net revenue reached $701.5 million for the full year 2022, a significant increase of 29% compared to $542.6 million in 2021, higher than the $698 million the Group had predicted in January.
Adjusted operating profit before tax (PBT) jumped by 53% from $79.6 million in 2021 to $121.7 million in 2022.
Revenue generation and the increasing scale of the business resulted in Operating PBT margins increasing to 17.3%, 260bps higher than 14.7% in 2021.
Return on equity (ROE) came in at 17.7% for the year, comparing with 14.2% in the prior year.
