Market Maker XTX Discussed Publicly with its Venture Capital Arm
XTX Markets, a large market maker, has released more information on its venture capital arm, XTX Ventures. Ekaterina Holt, the former Deutsche Bank corporate strategy executive and LSE graduate, has joined XTX as its haed in 2018, and carried on making investments.
XTX Ventures focuses its investments on the machine-learning algorithms and tech that power the rest of the company. Its portfolio is made up of strategic investments in fintech and capital-markets startups, and venture investments in early-stage companies in any industry and in any location, from healthcare to advertising to robotics, according to Holt.
XTX didn’t disclose the assets under management of its venture unit or its returns over the years.
