MarketAxess Promotes Christopher Gerosa As New Chief Financial Officer

Fazzaco learned that fintech company MarketAxess Holdings Inc. has annouced the promotion of Christopher Gerosa as its new Chief Financial Officer(CFO), effective August 1, 2021.

Mr. Gerosa, currently served as MarketAxess’s Head of Accounting and Finance, will take over the role of CFO from Tony DeLise. He will be supporting the CFO transition over the balance of the year and will continue leading the Investor Relations and Corporate Development functions going forward.

As seen on his Linkedin profile, Mr. Gerosa joined MarketAxess in April 2015 as Head of Accounting and Finance. Prior to joining MarketAxess, Mr. Gerosa worked at Primus Guaranty, Ltd. as CEO from March 2003 to June 2014. Before this role, Deutsche Bank utilised his services as Assistant Vice President for 2 years.

Mr. Gerosa’s career began at Arthur Andersen, LLP, an American holding company based in Chicago. He left the accounting firm after 2 years. Over the course of his career, He also spent 2 years as Associate with Goldman Sachs.
