Markets.com Hires Dany Mawas as South Africa CEO

Markets.com, a global trading brand owned by Finalto Group, has appointed Dany Mawas as its new CEO for South Africa. In his new role, Mawas will focus on creating a more accessible and fair trading environment for South Africa, leveraging the company's ODP license and its diverse trading platforms.

Mawas brings over 15 years of international experience in the financial services sector. Prior to Markets.com, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at RaiseFX​, a global multi-asset CFD broker, playing a key role in expanding the company's global footprint, developing the brand in various regions including the MENA, Southeast Asia, and Africa, and opening 5 new offices globally in less than 3 months. In December 2020, Mawas joined INFINOX as a Regional Director before being promoted to Global Head of Retention in April 2022.

In addition, Mawas has spent nearly eight years at the global Forex and CFD broker FXCM, with roles including Managing Director of Sales for UK & Africa, Head of Sales for France, and FX Sales Associate, etc.
