Marqeta, the California-based card-issuing platform, recently announced the launch of its new credit card issuing platform, aiming to help the world’s innovators launch cutting-edge credit products.

According to the official announcement, the new launch allows the compoany to power any card type including credit, debit, and prepaid.

With the credit card issuing platform, Marqeta's business customers will be provided with an alternative solution to the current technological barriers they face when launching a new credit program.

At the same time, the API-driven credit card issuing platform also enpowers the customers to launch new and customized credit card products in a fraction of the time with more flexible controls and features. The platform will offer program management services such as underwriting, compliance, and risk management. 

Companies will have a modern credit system of record. They can adjust account parameters such as rewards, APR, and credit lines in real time based on custom rules. Additionally, they can ditch the spreadsheets and instead access a centralized dashboard to configure credit products.
