Martin Price to Head Investor Relations at IG Group

IG Group, a global online trading company providing CFDs and Forex, has hired Martin Price from Jefferies to assume the role of Global Head of Strategic Finance and Investor Relations, with effect from March 14th.

"Martin brings excellent knowledge of both the diversified financials sector and working with institutional investors through his decades of experience as a financial analyst. We look forward to him working closely with our current and prospective investor base and communicating progress on our strategy," commented Charlie Rozes, Chief Financial Officer at IG Group.

In the new role, he will be based in IG’s London headquarters. Most recently, he worked at the investment bank Jefferies’ Equity Research team as Senior Vice President. During his time at the bank, he co-led coverage of the European Diversified Financials sector.

Preciously, Martin was focused on equity research, with senior positions at Societe Generale, Credit Suisse, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Last month, Fazzaco reported that Niamh Byrne​, who has been with IG Group for fourteen years, has parted ways with the broker. During this period, she has served as Senior Institutional Sales & Client Manager first, and Head of UK B2B2C Sales.
