Matrixport, SquaredFinancial, OKX and Other Four Companies Are Hiring Now

As the global economic environment continues to be sluggish and market competition becomes increasingly fierce, many financial companies are reducing costs through layoffs and other ways to maintain their long-term development.

On Wednesday, Meta is planning to lay off employees in the unit of its metaverse-oriented Reality Labs division focused on creating custom silicon. The silicon unit, called Facebook Agile Silicon Team, or FAST, has roughly 600 employees.

Meanwhile, Citigroup managers are reviewing staff rosters to determine by November who will stay in place, be reassigned or laid off during its biggest reorganization in decades, according to a global memo to staff.

In terms of the crypto industry, Ledger, a French firm building hardware and software for securing crypto assets, is laying off 12% of its staff, citing macroeconomic headwinds that limit its ability to generate revenue.

Singapore-based crypto lender Matrixport is hiring a Product Operations Analyst who will be responsible for supporting daily product management, coordinating release of products and features, as well as making product design/ business optimization recommendation based on the data analytics result.

Requirements:

• Majors in finance/ economics/mathematics/statistics/marketing are preferred;

• At least 1-2 years of working experience in the blockchain/fintech industry is preferred;

• Prior knowledge in blockchain, cryptocurrency would be advantageous.

• Good English writing skill is required, fluency in both English and Mandarin speaking is required.

2. OKX​ - Affiliate Data Analyst

OKX, the world's second largest crypto exchange by volume and a leading web3 platform, is looking for a Affiliate Data Analyst. The qualified candidate will identify data sources and data requirements of the team, analyze datasets and derive insights.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, and other related courses;

• Solid skills in data analytics/data science/business intelligence would be advantageous;

• Advanced understanding and/or experience working in a Cryptocurrency/Blockchain/Fintech/Finance Trading domain preferred;

3. SquaredFinancial - Compliance & AML Officer

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in law, Business Administration or Finance;

• CySEC Advanced and AML Certification;
