Matt Collinge Joins Sequence as CTO

Former CTO of Curve, Matt Collinge, has joined another UK-based start-up, Sequence.

Sequence says it is "magically simplifying financial operations for modern companies", but at this stage only has a waitlist sign-up on its website.

"We are creating a new category of software, FinOps, bringing the delightful UX and product focused aspects of fintech to bear on the underserved but business critical aspects of finance processes in growing businesses," Collinge explains.

He describes Sequence as "an exciting, ambitious, early stage but well capitalised business".

Collinge spent nearly four years as CTO of Curve, a UK fintech that aims to combine users' debit and credit cards into one smart card. Prior to that, he held various senior technology roles at comparison website Compare the Market for over eight years.
