Metaverse Thailand Partners with Bitkub to Provide Tradable Land NFTs

Metaverse Thailand has partnered with Bitkub Blockchain Technology to build a metaverse based on the Bitkub Chain, with land non-fungible token (NFT) sales starting very soon in this month.

Both firms are working on their own versions of the metaverse, a digital environment powered by the internet and accessed through virtual reality (VR).

According to Metaverse Thailand, the company will develop a digital representation of genuine locations in Thailand, specifically the Thong Lor–Ekkamai–Sukhumvit Soi 71 and Phrom Phong neighbourhoods of Bangkok.

The goal of the partnership is to connect and render land, or "hexagons", on Metaverse Thailand and make them available for purchase by Bitkub Metaverse users. To negotiate the metaverse land transactions, the firms portrayed themselves as a "lands department".

They also revealed that hexagons will be traded on the Bitkub Metaverse and that staking will provide a return to holders.

For this reason, the group has supported hackathons to create further applications.

Cryptocurrencies can be used to acquire the land.
