MFSA Warns Against Clone Entity Nova-Finance

The Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) has become aware of an entity operating under the name of Nova-Finance which has an internet presence at https://nova-finance.cc/. This website is cloning the website/s of MFSA licence holders forming part of the Calamatta Cuschieri Group. The website also states that Nova-Finance is "a recognised fund administrator by the Malta Financial Services Authority" and that it is "part of the Calamatta Cuschieri Group".
The Authority would like to inform the public that Nova-Finance is NOT a Maltese registered company NOR is it authorised to provide any financial services in or from Malta. Additionally, Nova-Finance has NO association with Calamatta Cuschieri Investment Services Limited and/or CC Funds SICAV plc and/or CC Fund Services (Malta) Limited and/or Calamatta Cuschieri Investment Management Limited in any way.
The website also purports that the entity is "licensed by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF)" and that it is "a member of the Malta Asset Servicing Association (MASA)". However, when searching on the CSSF and MASA websites, no record of the reported entity was found.
A warning on Nova-Finance has already been published by Calamatta Cuschieri Group themselves. This warning can be found on https://cc.com.mt/blog/company-news/warning-to-clients-in-relation-to-a-fake-website-and-cloning-of-calamatta-cuschieri-cc-website-s/
The website https://nova-finance.cc/ therefore appears to be a clone of the website/s of the legitimate entities. The public should therefore refrain from undertaking any business or transactions with the false entity.
