MH Markets Secures FSCA License, Expanding into South Africa
MH Markets has announced that its affiliated entity, MH MARKETS (PTY) LTD, has received authorization from the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) of South Africa. This marks a key regulatory achievement in the firm's international expansion strategy.
The company is registered as a Category I Financial Services Provider with a Crypto Assets subcategory under the FSCA, holding registration number 2025/603612/07. This license permits it to offer advice and intermediary services for crypto assets under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS).
The authorization is a strategic move to strengthen MH Markets' presence in the African financial sector. South Africa is a pivotal market in the group's long-term regional strategy, and establishing a locally regulated entity underscores its commitment to operating within robust compliance frameworks.
The license also supports the company's broader African expansion. MH Markets has been developing localized payment infrastructure, offering deposit and withdrawal options through mobile money and regional banking in countries including Cameroon, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, and Tanzania.
The firm facilitates transactions through local partners and accepts multiple African currencies, alongside maintaining global payment methods. This step to secure an FSCA license reinforces the group's focus on regulatory alignment, client protection, and transparency as it grows its international footprint.
