Apart from the appointment of Bill Featherston, Mizuho Americas announced on the first day of the new year that it has completed the acquisition of the independent investment bank Greenhill, adding complementary services to the firm's existing capital markets, banking, and private capital advisory capabilities across the corporate and investment bank.
