Moment Secures Funding to Automate Fixed Income Workflows

Moment, a platform designed to unify trading, research, portfolio optimization, reporting, and risk and compliance for fixed income teams, has announced a new funding round. The investment round saw participation from notable firms including Andreessen Horowitz, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Venrock, Neo, and Contrary Capital. Moment was founded by a team with experience building automated credit desks at Citadel Securities and Jane Street.
The new funding is intended to support Moment's growth, facilitate additional partnerships, invest in research and development, and expand its New York-based team. This comes after the firm recently secured a partnership with LPL Financial, one of the largest independent dealer-brokers in the US.
Dylan Parker, CEO of Moment, commented on the market opportunity, stating, "Demand for fixed-income has exploded, and leading financial institutions are capitalizing on this unique opportunity to seize market share." He added that firms are "partnering with Moment to co-create the future of fixed income - empowering their fixed income teams with a differentiated platform to win new business, unlock eight-figure revenue channels, and genuinely 10x their productivity."
Moment's platform allows clients to execute thousands of trades rapidly, optimize multi-asset portfolios across numerous accounts, and scan for real-time compliance violations. It also incorporates AI-powered workflows to generate portfolios from email requests, build transition proposals from PDFs, and produce client-ready reports.
