Moneta Markets Preparing to Launch Prop Trading Division

Brokerage group Moneta Markets appears to be preparing to enter the proprietary trading space, with its founder, David Bily, indicating the firm's product is nearing readiness. The company has posted a job opening for a General Manager to lead this new division, signaling advanced development of the venture.
In a social media post on Monday, June 23, 2025, David Bily, CEO and Founder at Moneta Markets, announced the search for a "results-driven General Manager to spearhead our soon-to-launch prop trading firm. The product is nearly ready, now I just need the right person to scale it into a fierce industry competitor." The role, which can be based in Dubai or open to relocation, includes responsibilities such as team building, managing daily operations, driving performance, and scaling the business.
Moneta Markets established a presence in the UAE last year through a partnership with Sterling Financial Services, a firm regulated by the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA). Mr. Bily has previously commented on Dubai's appeal as a global business hub with a robust financial ecosystem and strategic geographic location, positioning the company to engage with growing financial markets in the Middle East and North Africa region.
The company's move into prop trading follows a trend among other brokers, including ThinkMarkets, Blueberry, and IC Markets, which have already expanded into this sector. Moneta Markets offers over 1,000 instruments, including FX pairs, indices, commodities, share CFDs, cryptocurrencies, bonds, and ETFs.
