Monex Group Unveils Record Total Operating Revenue in FY21

Monex Group, which operates several Japanese brokerages and a cryptocurrency exchange, has published its financial results for fiscal year ending March 31, 2022, disclosing that its total operating revenue has achieved record high  at JPY 83,549 million, growing 13% from JPY 73,695 million of last same period.

The group has seen continuous growth in major segments since the start of the crypto asset business, Conicheck.

Regarding the profit before income taxes, the figure stood at JPY 20,801 million, down 2% YoY. The profit attributable to owners of the group was JPY 13,017 million, decreasing 9% YoY. And the EBITDA came in at JPY 23,367 million, dropping 27% compared to that of the same period of the previous year at JPY 31,982 million.
