moneycorp appoints Marilia Shewchenko for leading Rochford’s UK launch

moneycorp, a foreign exchange and international payments specialist, has announced the appointment of Marilia Shewchenko for heading the UK launch of its Australian treasury advisory house – Rochford. Marilia will be responsible for bringing Rochford’s advisory services to the European market.

Marilia Shewchenko, newly appointed UK Managing Director at Rochford, said, “The appointment is a very exciting opportunity to join my European expertise with Rochford’s experience in Australasia, and moneycorp’s impressive platform and depth of knowledge in the market – that will allow us to take our services to the next level.”

Rochford, acquired by moneycorp in 2019, is an Australian independent treasury advisor that offers individual solutions to clients for managing the impact of treasury risks. The company aims to increase the efficiency of clients’ treasury operations with a combination of advisory services and Rochford’s cloud-based treasury risk management platform. It offers services in areas such as FX, interest rates, commodities risk management, cash flow forecasting, currency overlay, global cash management, and hedge accounting.
