moomoo Japan Rolls out Online Brokerage Services

Following making its debut in Japan in October 2022, Moomoo, an investment and trading platform, has launched its online brokerage business in the country as of September 19, 2023.

Moomoo Japan now allows Japanese investors to trade around ,000 US stocks and ETFs on the moomoo app. Besides, the local clients will be able soon to trade 301 selected US stocks and ETFs, 24 hours every trading day.

"We saw great interest in investing US stocks in Japan, especially the younger generation. With the launch of our online brokerage business, Japanese moomoo users can now trade US stocks via our proprietary moomoo app, just at their fingertips, while enjoying massive free data, professional-level investing tools and news services, that help them to make informed investing decisions," said moomoo Japan CEO Francisco Izawa.

The recent launch comes after moomoo's going live in the Malaysian market​ in May.
