Morgan Stanley Updates the E*TRADE Integration Progress

On Monday, Morgan Stanley Wealth Management made its plans public on how to integrate robo-advisor offering, Access Investing into its E*TRADE ecosystem.
The upgrades are a part of the E*TRADE integration, which Morgan Stanley is using to take advantage of the benefits of each product it offers. The robo-advisor from Morgan Stanley has a natural home in Core Portfolios, a service currently provided by E*TRADE Capital Management, LLC. Core Portfolios is especially made to help meet the needs of investors who prefer using technology, and it is a part of E*TRADE's award-winning digital brokerage platform.
A managed, diversified portfolio may be quickly and easily set up online with Core Portfolios. Investors receive a model portfolio recommendation after answering a brief set of questions, and they can invest with a $500 minimum and a 0.30% annual fee. With the use of Smart Beta and Socially Responsive methods, clients can further customize their portfolios. The model portfolios make use of the Global Investment Office at Morgan Stanley's knowledge base and market research. Clients have access to a team of financial experts who can talk to them about the markets and how they can affect their portfolio while also offering assistance with more complicated issues when they come up.
"Throughout the integration we have looked for opportunities to combine Morgan Stanley's deep wealth management expertise with E*TRADE's digital prowess," said Chad Turner, Head of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management's Digital Direct Channel. "Today represents an important step in that effort, wherein we are combining the most sought-out features of both Core Portfolios and Access Investing to offer an exceptional experience for digitally inclined and beginning investors."
