The Moscow Exchange (MOEX) has announced its financial results for the third quarter of 2024, reflecting robust performance across key metrics. The results, prepared under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), show notable growth compared to the same period last year.

Fee and commission income reached RUB 14.86 billion, while net interest income stood at RUB 25.13 billion, supported by a high-ruble interest rate environment. Operating income totaled RUB 40 billion, and adjusted net profit came in at RUB 23.39 billion.

MOEX saw increased market activity and product diversification during Q3. Three non-resource companies launched IPOs, raising a combined RUB 18.1 billion, and one issuer completed a secondary public offering (SPO) worth RUB 0.4 billion. The derivatives market expanded with new futures contracts, including cash-settled futures on cocoa beans and deliverable futures on RASP shares.

Additionally, six Russian-law ETFs focusing on equities, bonds, and money markets started trading. In a move to enhance transparency for Asian investors, MOEX began publishing the IMOEX index in Chinese yuan (CNY). The platform also introduced tools for Finuslugi clients to better analyze and purchase mutual funds.

In a strategic educational initiative, MOEX established a laboratory at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), equipped with its analytical terminal. The facility will support academic research and training sessions.
