MTGOX Releases Online System Registration Function for Offline Creditors

Nobuaki Kobayashi, the Rehabilitation Trustee of MTGOX, once the world's largest Bitcoin exchange, announced on Thursday that he has released a new registration function for creditors having filed rehabilitation claims but currently unable to log into the MTGOX's Online System to register their claims. 

MTGOX's Online System was built by the Rehabilitation Trustee for users of MTGOX's Bitcoin exchange to file proofs of rehabilitation claim against MTGOX for the return of cryptocurrency and money. The system went live in August 2018.

Nobuaki Kobayashi plans to use the improved System to help carry out future processes including voting on the rehabilitation plan and making payments smoothly. The Trustee is now calling for all eligible creditors to immediately register on the System via the latest version of Google Chrome.

Nobuaki Kobayashi also intends to expand further the registration function for creditors with self-approved claims. Once the Trustee publish the notice, self-approved creditors will be asked to leverage this registration function to register on the System.
