MUFG Bank Announces Multiple Changes of Representatives of Its Board of Directors
Japan's MUFG Bank announced today the following changes in Representatives of the Board of Directors decided at today's meeting of the Board of Directors, effective April 1, 2021.
Specifically, Kiyoshi Sono whose current position is Chairman and Representative of the Board of Directors will step down and serve as a Senior Advisor. Kanetsugu Mike will no longer act as the President, CEO and Representative of the Board of Directors. Naoki Hor, Deputy President and Representative of the Board of Directors, will be promoted to the role of Chairman and Representative of the Board of Directors. Junichi Hanzawa, Managing Executive Officer and Representative of the Board of Directors, will be appointed as President, CEO and Representative of the Board of Directors. The bank said these are just regular changes in corporate executives.
