Murex, PrimeXM, The5ers and Other Four Companies Are Hiring Now

Robert Kiyosaki, the co-author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, a 1997 personal finance book which has been on the New York Times Best Seller List for over six years, has sounded fresh alarms about potential banking crises, saying that "Please be careful. Banking crisis worsens." The recent wave of layoffs in the banking industry appears to lend some support to his viewpoint.
Citigroup will lay off 286 employees in New York, according to filings to the State Department of Labor. Three separate notices dated earlier this week showed the layoffs would impact 239 employees from its primary banking subsidiary, 44 from its broker-dealer unit and three from its technology arm.
In additional news, the Australian banking trade union unveiled that Westpac Banking Corp, one of the country's top lenders, has cut 132 jobs across divisions. From the bank's risk division, 62 roles are being reduced at a time when the country faces an "unprecedented level" of scams and cybersecurity threats.
The tech industry is also facing further challenges, as big names like Sony and Bumble have recently announced layoffs. Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed that it will be cutting 900 jobs, which accounts for approximately 8% of its global workforce. Similarly, social software company Bumble has announced a reduction of 350 positions, representing around 30% of its total workforce.
Despite the ongoing layoffs, the current job market is not as dire as one may think. Fazzaco, with a focus on the hiring landscape, has discovered that numerous financial firms, especially brokerages, fintechs, crypto exchanges, and prop trading firms, are actively bolstering their business development and marketing teams through new hires this week.
