A 2025 U.S. district court victory against the Commodity Futures Trading Commission resulted in the unfreezing of client assets, which were originally frozen in 2023. The company has now initiated the process of returning funds to clients with pending rewards from the time of its closure.

MyForexFunds and its CEO Murtuza Kazmi stated that emails have been dispatched to users who had requested payouts prior to the shutdown. The firm indicated it will post a survey after all email batches are sent to identify any recipients who may have been missed. Once all necessary details are collected, payments will commence promptly.

While MyForexFunds has not made an official announcement regarding resuming operations, a restart appears imminent. The retail prop trading sector has seen substantial global growth during the more than two years the company has been inactive.

CEO Murtuza Kazmi recently appeared on Canadian television to provide an account of the events leading to the firm's shutdown and subsequent legal proceedings.
