Fazzaco has learned that Ben Bilski, Founder and Chief Information Officer (CIO) of NAGA Group, has resigned from his position and is preparing to start a new career journey.
In 2015, Bilski founded NAGA Group, a financial technology company specializing in social trading. Under his leadership, the company achieved listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange within two years. Bilski served as the CEO of NAGA Group until June 2023, when he transitioned to the role of CIO.
"NAGA went through a transformation and found a new home lead by amazingly talented entrepreneurs and executives. The new team will make the company reach new heights and I am 100% confident," shared Bilski in a post on LinkedIn.
He further stated: "Even though as core founder, I never owned more than 10% of NAGA, I treated it as if its all mine and have shown always 100% full scale committment towards my job. Sometimes I loaded a bit too much on my shoulders. I cant hide the fact that such limited ownership makes you then rethink future perspectives, but thats how business is!
"Again, I want to say thanks to everyone I met on this journey, every person with whom I worked. Everyone with whom I had success and failure. Every argument, every good conversation. Every up and every down. I will always support NAGA even beyond my departure."
Bilski's LinkedIn profile indicates that he has recently established a new business in Dubai. However, the specific nature of this business has not been disclosed.
The merger between NAGA Group and CAPEX.com, a leading online trading platform, in late 2023, garnered significant industry attention. The deal is said to be creating a global fintech powerhouse with a combined user base of over 1.5 million, potentially having a significant impact on the market landscape.
