Fazzaco learned that Interactive Brokers has added some new funds and fund families to its Mutual Funds Marketplace.

According to the US-based brokerage firm, Global Fund Families newly added to the platform include:

Aberdeen Funds; Baring UK Ltd.; BNP Paribas Asset Management; BTG Pactual; Capital Intl.; Carmignac Gestion; Columbia Threadneedle; DWS Investments; Eastspring Investments; EFG Asset Management; GAM Funds; Henderson Global; Heptagon Capital; M&G International; Morgan Stanley Investment Management Ltd.; Nomura Asset Management; Nordea; Principal Global Investment; Sanlam Asset Management; Silverdale Funds; T. Rowe Price Global; White Oak.

New US Fund Families include:

The Interactive Brokers Mutual Funds Marketplace provides clients from over 200 countries and territories with access to more than 40,000 funds from 400 fund families, including Allianz, American Funds, BlackRock, Fidelity, Franklin Templeton, Invesco, MFS and PIMCO.

IBKR does not charge a custody fee. In addition, it offers over 7,700 funds with no transaction fees, while fee funds outside the US charge EUR 4.95 (or equivalent).

The Marketplace is fund-agnostic – there is no conflict of interest as the company does not offer proprietary funds.

In addition, Interactive Brokers’ clients can use the Mutual Fund Inventory Search Tool to identify funds by country of residence, commission charged, fund type or fund family.

As Fazzaco reported earlier, Interactive Brokers has added 16 new products to trade on the IBKR platform to include CME Micro Bitcoin Futures (MBT), Small US Crude Oil Futures (SMO), Eurex Micro Futures on Euro Stoxx 50 (FXSE) and so on.
