New Zealand’s FMA Warns Against Three Clone Websites of Rockfort Markets Limited

The New Zealand's Financial Markets Authority (FMA) today published warnings on its website against three clone websites of Rockfort Markets Limited, a New Zealand licensed derivatives issuer.

According to the official press release, the regulatory body concerned that these websites are involved in a scam.

There are false claims made on these three websites saying that they are connected with Rockfort Markets Limited. 

However, the regulated derivatives issuer has confirmed that they are not associated with or operate www.rockfortcrypto.com or www.rockfortmarket.net.  In addition, FMA believed that Rockfort operates and/or is associated with www.rockfort-markets.com.

The New Zealand watchdog has continued to strengthen regulatory effectiveness in the country through efforts in regime, enforcement actions and staffing.

As Fazzaco reported earlier, FMA recently has issued an infringement notice to equity crowdfunding service provider Equitise Pty Ltd as the company failed to file financial statements by their due date. The regulator also announced the cancellation of the managed investment scheme(MIS) manager licence of Fund Managers Otago(FMO)​, effective 5pm, 7 July 2021.
