New Zealand’s FMA Warns Against Two Entities

The New Zealand's Financial Markets Authority (FMA)​ today published a warning on its website against two entities: TopMarketCap and equitycorp.org.

The firms are using or giving the following details:

Website: www.topmarketcap.com
Emails: Support@topmarketcap.com, compliance@topmarketcap.com

According to the warning notice, TopMarketCap does not hold a Derivative Issuer License and is not a registered financial service provider in New Zealand or licensed by the FMA. As such, they are not permitted to offer derivative trading services to New Zealand retail customers.

As detailed in the notice, www.equitycorp.org is quoting details associated with Equity Corporate Limited and Cambridge Partners Limited, companies incorporated in New Zealand. The FMA understands the operators of the website are using the details of these companies without permission.

The operators of www.equitycorp.org are not a registered financial service provider in New Zealand, or able to offer financial services to New Zealand residents.
