Number of Blocked Illegal Websites by CONSOB Rises to 537

CONSOB, Italy's financial authority, has banned five additional unlawful financial websites. The regulator also stated that it has inked a framework agreement for coordination with the Institute for Insurance Supervision (Ivass).

CONSOB has shut down a total of 537 illegal financial websites in the nation since July 2019. In financial investments, the authorities emphasized the necessity of due diligence and awareness. Since the beginning of 2021, CONSOB has greatly boosted its operations against fraudulent actors.

"CONSOB draws investors' attention to the importance of adopting the greatest diligence in order to make informed investment choices, adopting common sense behaviors, essential to safeguard their savings: these include, for websites that offer financial services, checking in advance that the operator with whom they are investing is authorized, and, for offers of financial products, that a prospectus has been published," the authority mentioned.

- "Brocprime" (website www.brocprime.net and related page https://client.brocprime.net);

- Wabbit Group Ltd (website https://tradingnetwork.co);

- Seabreeze Partners LTD (website https://igfb.one)

- Llajes Services Sp.Zo.o (website https://globalinvestous.eu).
