Nuvei Names Vicky Bindra as CPO &COO

Nuvei, the Canadian fintech company, announced yesterday the appointment of Vicky Bindra as Chief Product and Operations Officer (CPO &COO), with effect from November 14, 2022.

In his new role, Bindra will oversee product development and operations, supporting growth across geographies and verticals, with a focus on delivering custom-made solutions and supporting processes designed to boost revenue for Nuvei's customers, according to the official press release. He will be based in San Francisco, and report to Nuvei Chair and CEO Phil Fayer.

Bindra joined Nuvei from FIS where he has spent more than two years, serving as Group President and CPO. Previously, he started his career in finance and strategy consulting with various senior leadership roles including CEO of GE Capital India, EVP at Citi and as a partner at Bain & Company.

And in the payment and fintech sectors, he has served Pine Labs as CEO, Mastercard as President, Asia Pacific, ME & Africa, and Visa as Global Head, Products & Solutions. Bindra is a chartered accountant and holds an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management.

Shortly before, Nuvei announced that its merchant client base can benefit from instant settlement globally and around the clock in EUROC and USDC stablecoins.
