Nuvei to Launch Visa Debit Cards Via Its Simplex Brand

Canadian payments processing firm Nuvei Corporation ("Nuvei") is launching its branded Visa debit cards through its subsidiary Simplex to its partners across the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom.
Simplex is a principal member of the Visa network and has an electronic money institutions (EMI) license in the European Union, enabling Nuvei to provide partner firms with an easy way to spend crypto anywhere Visa is accepted.
The rollout of the new cards aims to simplify the fiat-to-crypto process. For the customers of Nuvei's partners, the use of the debit card allows them to sell their crypto holdings at the click of a button, while being able to spend the resultant funds instantly anywhere that Visa is accepted.
"The branded Visa debit card is a huge asset to our partners and their users, enabling the immediate and seamless spending of crypto earnings," he said, "With this program, Visa has played a vital role in expanding the crypto ecosystem by closing the gap between traditional finance and crypto."
As Fazzaco reported earlier, Nuvei has published its financial results for the third quarter of 2021 ended September 30, indicating a huge growth in total volume and revenue.
