Nuvei's Chief Data and Analytics Officer Announces Departure

Netanel Kabala, the Chief Data and Analytics Officer at Nuvei, has announced that he will be stepping down from his position after over 10 years of significant contributions in the fintech and crypto space. In a post shared on LinkedIn, Kabala reflected on his professional journey, saying, "After over 10 years of an incredible journey, it's time for a new chapter."
Kabala co-founded Simplex in 2014 with the goal of bridging the gap between the worlds of fiat and cryptocurrency. Under his leadership, Simplex grew from a conceptual idea to a leading player in the crypto payment industry, culminating in its acquisition by Nuvei in 2021. Following the acquisition, Kabala led Nuvei's data and analytics division, utilizing Simplex's expertise to enhance the company's operations through AI-driven insights.
While announcing his departure, Kabala expressed his intention to focus on personal time for rest and family. However, he emphasized that this is not a final farewell. "I'm deeply passionate about AI, fintech and risk, with a particular focus on supporting the Israeli ecosystem. I'm excited to explore new opportunities to collaborate in various capacities, whether through advising, consulting, or mentoring," Kabala shared.
Prior to founding Simplex, Kabala had an extensive career as a Risk Analytics Manager at PayPal for over four years and spent two years as a lecturer at Tel Aviv University, his Alma Mater.
