OANDA Elevates Rafał Słoń to Managing Director for Australia

OANDA​, a global leader in online multi-asset trading services, currency data, corporate payments and Forex services, has promoted Rafał Słoń to Managing Director for Australia. Rafał has been with the company for over three years.

Prior to the new role, he served the firm as Head of Business Operations. Rafał joined as Business Operations Lead in June 2020, in Poland, then rose to Business Operations Manager Americas & EMEA after ten months.

"After spending fantastic 3 years in the OANDA Business Operations family, the time has come to accept the new challenge," Rafał shared on LinkedIn. "I'm happy to share that I'm starting a new position as Managing Director of OANDA Australia, based in Sydney."

Before joining OANDA, he has spent almost four years at IG Group, a global online trading company providing CFDs and Forex. During this period, he held roles including Business Development Consultant initially, then New Business Team Manager after three months.
