OANDA Japan Warns Clients of Unauthorized Access to Onamae.com Desktop Cloud

OANDA Japan Inc has issued a warning to its clients regarding unauthorized access to the Onamae.com Desktop Cloud service, which is provided by GMO Internet Group, Inc. The forex broker said that on October 21, 2026, a third party gained unauthorized access to the service, and it has been reported that information on the service’s servers may have been viewed.
The Onamae.com Desktop Cloud is a virtual private server (VPS) service used to run MT4/MT5 and automated trading programs continuously. OANDA Japan noted that customers using its MT4/MT5 on this service may have had their login credentials, including ID and password, viewed by a third party.
In response, OANDA Japan is urging clients to take immediate action: change their password for OANDA Japan’s My Page, change their MT5/MT4 password (which can be done from My Page), enable two-factor authentication for MT5/MT4, and contact support if they notice any suspicious transactions.
The broker said it is currently discussing future operational policies regarding the matter.
