OKEx Resumes P2P Digital Currency Exchange Services with 3 Fiats

OKEx, a Malta-based cryptocurrency exchange, announced on Wednesday that it has resumed the peer-to-peer digital currency exchange services with the following fiats: CNY, INR, and VND. According to its announcement, the exchange's Buy Crypto fiat gateway was also be reactivated at the same time.

However, OKEx noted that cryptocurrency withdrawals are still temporarily suspended. It reminded its clients to avoid off-escrow trading which runs the risk of scams and/or disputes without any protection.

As Fazzaco reported earlier, OKEx announced on Oct. 16 a temporal suspension​ of digital asset withdrawal without giving a specific reason. In its statement, the exchange denied the claim on Twitter that funds had been withdrawn from OKEx to a competitor exchange and assured its users that the security of funds has not been affected.
