Trading technology firm oneZero has introduced its Swap Curve Manager, a new product aimed at improving how regional banks manage foreign exchange (FX) swap pricing. The launch, announced on Wednesday, is positioned as a solution to long-standing challenges that have left smaller institutions at a disadvantage compared with larger players.

Traditionally, regional banks have relied heavily on external data providers to construct FX and interest rate curves, importing this information into eFX platforms to build quotes. The process often left traders with little direct control and made it harder to respond quickly to changing market conditions. Advanced pricing tools have existed, but many of them were cost-prohibitive for smaller institutions to adopt.

Andrew Ralich, oneZero's Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, said the company designed the new system with these banks in mind. "We have listened to the needs of regional banks, who have long been at a disadvantage in FX swap pricing," Ralich explained. "With our new Swap Curve Manager, we are increasing transparency, lowering costs, and putting advanced swap pricing tools directly into the hands of traders."

The Swap Curve Manager brings multiple elements of swap pricing into a centralised framework. The platform allows for real-time curve control, client-specific adjustments, and granular management of pricing tiers, skews, and volume thresholds. It also incorporates embedded analytics designed to support trading decisions. In addition, it can connect with multiple data sources, giving traders more flexibility in how they build their pricing strategies.

Founded in 2009 by Ralich and Jesse Johnson, oneZero develops trading solutions for brokers, institutional banks, and liquidity providers. The company's platform — built around its Hub, EcoSystem, and Data Source products — processes over $250 billion in average daily volume and handles billions of quotes and transactions every day.

The new release integrates with existing pricing engines via API or can be combined directly with oneZero's Hub. The company described it as a complement to its suite of FX pricing and trading tools, rather than a replacement.

The launch comes on the heels of several recent developments at oneZero. In August, the firm appointed Adam Collins as Head of Institutional Sales for the Americas and EMEA. Earlier this year, it also completed the acquisition of Autochartist, a market analytics provider known for automated financial content.
