OneZero's Autochartist Integration Emerges as Key Engagement Layer After One Year
It has been over a year since oneZero completed its acquisition of Autochartist. While the firms initially appeared to operate at distinct levels of the capital markets technology stack, their integration has proven complementary, enhancing the product offerings of both platforms.
Autochartist spent 15 years developing automated analytics and signal generation, converting real-time market data into actionable intelligence for global financial institutions. oneZero established itself as an enterprise-grade trading infrastructure provider, offering pricing, connectivity, liquidity distribution, and risk management at the core of many leading brokers, banks, and liquidity providers.
"The common denominator was the operational challenge both firms had spent years solving: turning high-volume market data into reliable outputs and delivering those services continuously across global, always-on trading environments," said oneZero CEO Andrew Ralich.
Autochartist founder and CEO Ilan Azbel, who joined oneZero as Product Manager for Engagement Solutions post-acquisition, explained that the combined entity accelerates client onboarding, simplifies market data integration, and extends capabilities through oneZero's institutional-grade technology.
Azbel elaborated that Autochartist's analytics remain core to the Market Analytics Platform (MAP), which can now process data to generate tailored outputs for different customer segments and trading journey stages. "This creates opportunities for brokers and banks to deliver more personalised and context-driven engagement experiences," he stated.
He emphasized the importance of targeted content over indiscriminate signal distribution to achieve specific business outcomes like trader acquisition, activation, and retention.
Currently, over 55% of Autochartist's customers are using aspects of the MAP. The strongest demand is for trader activation and retention solutions, with high growth in marketing automation tools. A new feature, "ContentCast," represents a strategic expansion into a generalized content distribution mechanism.
The companies highlight a market shift toward unified technology ecosystems where analytics, engagement, execution, and infrastructure are interconnected layers. Modern financial institutions increasingly compete on engagement, personalisation, and the ability to tailor experiences, requiring systems that dynamically distribute context-aware content.
"The roadmap includes broader distribution across new engagement channels and additional analytics capabilities for emerging market-participant segments," Ralich concluded, noting the platform aims to deliver real-time, event-driven signals directly into trading and risk environments.
