Online Trading Broker Public Launches Fractional Bond Trading

US-based multi-asset investing platform Public has announced on Monday the introduction of fractional bond investing to all Public members, in addition to real-time fractional trading for equities.
The company claims that it was "the first to offer real-time trading of fractional stocks and ETFs." "We're proud to be the only place where you can invest in a variety of corporate and Treasury bonds for as little as $100."
According to the announcement, the bond invetsing service is available both on mobile terminal and web. Besides, Public has built new tools, like AI-powered bond search and an easy-to-use screener.
"When designing our bond experience on Public, we had a few non-negotiables. It had to be mobile-friendly, intuitively designed, and focused on discoverability to help new bond investors navigate fixed income for the first time. And just like we pioneered real-time fractional investing of equities, we imagined a world where you could invest in bonds for almost any dollar amount, just like you do with stocks," the company notes.
Currently, more than 100 fractional bonds are available on Public, and the broker plan to add more.
In February, Fazzaco reported that Public was winding down its operations in the UK market after its launch in the country last July.
