Options Technology Promotes Laura McCann to Chief Financial Officer

Options Technology, the leading provider of cloud-enabled IT infrastructure to global capital markets, Thursday announced the appointment of Laura McCann as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Jon Lambert, who has served as CFO at the company since January 2016, will take to role of Senior Vice President (SVP) of Corporate Development, focusing on Options Technology's partnerships, mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Prior to joining Options Technology as VP Corporate Controller in 2016, Laura served at Vela Trading Technologies (formally known as SR Labs) for almost two years, having held roles of Financial Controller for EMEA and then Global Financial Controller. In addition, Laura had previously worked as a Senior Finance Associate for Global Infrastructure at NYSE Euronext between July 2009 and October 2014.

We've been integral to three acquisitions, most recently the purchase and integration of Fixnetix, a carve out from a Fortune 500 company, and Activ Financial, a global market data company. We also supported the business in two major Private Equity majority investments, first with New York-based Bregal Sagemount in summer 2017, then with ABRY Partners in December 2019; truly unique international business exposure for a Belfast-based finance team."

Options Technology has been developing rapidly recently. At the end of October, the company had launched its StrataNet​, a new global trading network that offers highly resilient, ultra-low latency access to the world's key liquidity centers for market data and order entry services.
