Osaka Digital Exchange Registered as Type 1 Financial Instruments Business Operator

Osaka Digital Exchange Co., Ltd. (ODX) announces Registration as Type 1 Financial Instruments Business Operator has been completed on 18th April, 2022.

ODX has been structuring its business scheme, operational process, and IT infrastructures, aiming to establish Proprietary Trading System (PTS) for equities and Venue for Security Token (ST) since its establishment. This completion of registration is a great step for starting its new business.

ODX has been preparing to gain final approval for PTS operation for equities and discussing the rules and structures with related parties for establishment of Venue for ST.

By participating in the PTS market and providing more trading opportunities for the investors, ODX will contribute to the sustainable development of the securities market. In addition, ODX seeks to establish an active secondary market for security tokens, which will in turn vitalize the primary market.
